The Greatest Show on Earth!
Kevin surprised me with circus tickets last week! Elephants, tigers, horses, ponies, dogs, goats and even a porcupine! There were a ton of clowns, of course, and lots of acrobats. We were surrounded by laughing kids which just added to the fun. I enjoyed my $9 snow cone (it did come in a collectible cup!) while we watched the show. We had a great time!

SNOW DAY!
Yesterday we got snow... 7 inches of snow! It was beautiful. Kevin and I stayed home with Bailey. We all bundled up and took a walk around the neighborhood. Bailey really had fun... she'd shove her entire head in the snow, then pull it out and run around! She also enjoyed eating the snow (just like she did in Pittsburgh!). Enjoy some pictures of our winter wonder land...

Happy New Year!
My great Aunt Betty just had her 90th birthday, so shortly after the new year, we took a trip north to Pittsburgh, PA (where she lives). It was so cold up there..the kind of cold that makes your teeth hurt! We had a great time and even got to see some snow. Bailey enjoyed eating the snow more than playing in it. My father grew up in Pittsburgh. It's neat to see his childhood home (which is still on Hattman Drive), where the Hattman Dairy was and even the house where my grandmother grew up! We visited downtown and rode up the Duquesne Incline. You could see the entire city from up there! Enjoy some pics from our cold trip...

Merry Christmas!!!
It's Christmas Eve and I am finishing up at work. Tonight we will join my mother, father and Grandmother at an early church service. Then, Kevin and I will head home to share a quiet Christmas eve together. In the morning, we will head to my sister-in-laws (as early as we can!) to see what Santa brought our nieces and nephew. They'll run around showing off their gifts as the adults enjoy some yummy breakfast casseroles. After that, we'll join my parents and Grandmother to open gifts with them and then we'll have a Christmas dinner feast with friends and family (including the Middleton's and my cousin Chris & his girlfriend). Finally, the day after Christmas we'll go to my in-laws.
The only thing missing is my brother and his fiance, Sarah. Thank goodness for Skype as we'll be on the computer with them in cyber-space tomorrow! :)
As you can see, it certainly is a busy (and sometimes stressful) time of year, but it is so worth it to be surrounded by friends and family (whether in person or on the computer!). I hope everyone has a very happy holiday and remembers what's important this time of year.
